Experience That Matters.
On November 3, 2020, I will be seeking election to the bench in Division “H” of the 24th Judicial District Court for the Parish of Jefferson, to fill the seat being vacated by retiring Judge Glenn Ansardi.
Over my nearly twenty-year career I have practiced in many areas of the law. Having served as an Assistant District Attorney for thirteen years, prosecuting felonies in Jefferson Parish and surrounding parishes, I have conducted countless motion hearings and jury trials.
In my private practice I have worked in many areas of the law, including civil plaintiff work, civil defense, criminal defense and administrative law. This varied practice has given me perspective for all sides of litigation.
If elected to the bench, I pledge to:
Treat all parties, litigants, witnesses and others with respect, dignity and professionalism
Render objective and fair decisions based on the law, facts and evidence
Be unswayed by partisan interests, public clamor or fear of criticism
Perform judicial duties without bias or prejudice
Be accessible for addressing all judicial matters promptly, efficiently and fairly
Always consider the schedules of parties and attorneys when setting court hearings
Faithfully adhere to the Cannons of Judicial Conduct
